Latest PRC Passing Rates by Profession

Nursing (PNLE / NLE)

February 2026 Results:

  • Total Examinees: 8,162
  • Total Passers: 3,611
  • Passing Rate: 44.24%
  • The NLE consistently has one of the lower passing rates among major PRC boards. This is not because the exam is impossibly hard — it attracts a very high volume of examinees, many of whom take it without a structured review. Examinees who follow a disciplined review plan consistently perform above the national average.

    Criminology (CLE)

    February 2026 Results:

  • Total Examinees: 45,936
  • Total Passers: 30,320
  • Passing Rate: 65.99%
  • The CLE has one of the largest examinee pools of any PRC board. The passing rate hovers in the mid-60s range. The volume means that even small improvements in your preparation quality can meaningfully improve your chances.

    Medical Technology (MTLE)

    February 2026 Results:

  • Total Examinees: 9,317
  • Total Passers: 7,838
  • Passing Rate: 84.12%
  • Medical Technology consistently produces the highest passing rate among the six professions on LisensyaPrep. An 84% passing rate means that a well-prepared examinee has a very strong chance of passing on the first attempt.

    Education (LET)

The LET has a historically variable passing rate, typically between 30% and 50% depending on the cycle. The elementary level generally has a slightly higher passing rate than the secondary level.

    Pharmacy (PLE)

Pharmacy passing rates typically fall in the 55% to 75% range. The exam rewards structured subject-by-subject preparation.

    Agriculture (ALE)

Agriculture passing rates have historically varied widely — sometimes as low as 30% and as high as 70% — making consistent structured review especially important.

What These Numbers Actually Mean for You

A passing rate of 44% like the NLE sounds discouraging until you look at it differently. Nearly half of the people who sit for that exam pass. Among those who consistently reviewed for 3 months or more with structured materials, the pass rate is almost certainly much higher.

Passing rates are pulled down by examinees who:

  • Took the exam without reviewing seriously
  • Reviewed in an unstructured way without covering all subjects
  • Had strong subjects but neglected weak areas until too late
  • Struggled with time management during the actual exam
  • None of those factors apply to someone following a structured review plan.

    How Passing Rates Are Calculated

    Passing Rate (%) = (Number of Passers / Total Examinees) x 100

The "passers" count only includes examinees who met both required thresholds:

  • A general weighted average of at least 75%
  • No individual subject score below the minimum (usually 60%)
  • Both conditions must be met. This is why subject-by-subject review matters so much — ignoring any single subject is a real risk.
