Step-by-step guide to filing your PRC board exam application via the LERIS portal — what to prepare, how to avoid mistakes, and what comes after approval.
What is PRC LERIS?
LERIS stands for Licensure Examination and Registration Information System. It is the official online portal of the Professional Regulation Commission where all board exam applicants submit their applications.
The LERIS portal is at: online.prc.gov.ph

Step-by-Step: How to Apply via PRC LERIS
Step 1: Create Your LERIS Account
Go to online.prc.gov.ph and click "Create Account." Fill in your personal information exactly as it appears on your PSA Birth Certificate. Check your email for the verification link and click it to activate your account.
Step 2: Log In and Fill Out the Application Form
Go to "Examination Application" and select the specific board exam you are applying for. Fill out all required fields including personal information, school and degree details, and contact information.
Step 3: Upload Your Documents and Photo
Upload your 2x2 ID photo and any required supporting documents. Make sure your files are clear, properly cropped, and within the file size limits.
Step 4: Choose Your Exam Schedule and Testing Center
LERIS will show you the available exam dates and testing centers. Slots are limited and fill up quickly. Apply as early as PRC opens the application window.
Step 5: Pay the Application Fee
After choosing your slot, pay through accepted PRC payment channels and save your payment receipt. The fee is non-refundable.
Step 6: Book Your Appointment for Document Verification
You still need to appear physically at a PRC office to submit your original documents. Bring all originals plus photocopies to your appointment.
Step 7: Download Your Notice of Admission
Once PRC approves your application, download your Notice of Admission from your LERIS account. Print it and keep it safe — you must bring it to the exam venue on exam day.

Common Application Mistakes to Avoid
Using a personal nickname instead of your legal name: Your application must match your PSA documents exactly.
Submitting a photo that does not meet specs: The most common reason for flagged applications. Have your photo taken at a professional studio and tell them it is for a PRC application.
Waiting until the last week to apply: Slots for popular testing centers run out fast.
Ignoring LERIS email notifications: PRC sends updates about your application status through email. Check your inbox and spam folder regularly.
